  • Navotas Medical and Wellness Center with services that include drug testing, community-based rehabilitation and physical therapy, animal bite treatment, clinical laboratory, ultrasound, ECG, Mammography at X-ray
  • Opened a NavoCare Community Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Center at Brgy. Tanza 1. The clinic can accommodate musculoskeletal cases including frozen shoulder, shoulder impingement, fractures, and sprains and strains. It can also provide therapy for neurological cases such as cardiovascular disease (CVD), Parkinsonā€™s disease and cerebral palsy
  • Launched Eye Health Program together with Heart to Heart Foundation, Community Chest of Korea, and Korea Foundation for International Healthcare, the city government provides eye health services to its constituents including free eye check up and eyeglasses. Among the beneficiaries of the program are the NavoteƱo senior citizens, elementary pupils, and inmates
  • Provided Academic Scholarships for high school, college and teachers who wish to pursue higher studies
  • NavotaAs Ulirang Pamilyang Mangingisda Scholarship: Five relatives, up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, of the 2018 Top Ten Outstanding Fisherfolk are now eligible to receive educational assistance from the city government
  • Arts, Sports, Fisherfolk Scholarships where scholars receive allowance for tuition, books, food and transportation
  • Launched Takbo ni Juan para sa Scholar ng Bayan:  Fundraising activity for Drug-free Navotas for the scholarship program every November for drug prevention week. A total of 737 scholars were supported by this project
  • Avot tours: Avot John, the official mascot of Navotas, visits public elementary schools in the city to teach young NavoteƱos about good manners and other relevant issues including good nutrition and disaster preparedness

  • Hall of Justice: The judiciary is now more accessible to all NavoteƱos with the inauguration of the cityā€™s Hall of Justice at A. Ignacio St., Brgy. Daanghari. It houses RTC Branches 286, 287 and 288, and MeTC Branches 118 and 119, as well as the Offices of the Clerk of Court for both RTC and MeTC
  • The city has turned over seven patrol cars as well as five body cameras, 16 Kevlar helmets, 16 bulletproof vests, and 30 handheld radios to PNP-Navotas, and one Rosenbauer fire truck to BFP-Navotas
  • Earthquake Drill:  Navotas regularly participates in nationwide and metrowide earthquake drills to make its constituents prepared for any disaster

GAIA is a worldwide alliance of more than 600 grassroots groups, non-government organizations and individuals who are leading the transition toward a zero waste world
