THE Navotas City government has converted a high school building into a community isolation facility (CIF) to accommodate patients with mild cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

The new four-story building of the Navotas National High School will have a capacity of 100 beds, according to Mayor Tobias Tiangco who led its opening along with his brother, Rep. John Rey Tiangco.

The first floor is intended for pregnant or lactating mothers who are suspect or probable cases. The second and third floors are for other suspect or probable patients, and the fourth floor is exclusive for Covid-19 positive cases with mild symptoms.
